Capturing a Dragon

Keeping a keen lookout and driving slowly, we first spot our dragon blocking the road ahead (main picture).

Okay, maybe not actually blocking the road. If we didn't have good eyesight, we wouldn't even have seen it. It's not a big dragon.

I close in on foot, slowly and quietly. Bother! There it goes (inset left), at high speed, hardly touching the ground, into the roadside bushes.

I persevere. My dragon, all 15 centimetres of it (almost), climbs some low vegetation and stays there as I very slowly and very quietly approach.

The dragon watches me as my camera clicks but doesn't otherwise move, and is still there when I quietly walk away, delighted to have successfully hunted another dragon (inset right).
